These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ontario HVAC Reviews. By accessing or using this website — whether to browse listings, submit a review, or submit a company — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
Ontario HVAC Reviews (“we,” “us,” or “our“) operates an online directory of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) companies serving Ontario, Canada (the “Site“). Our goal is to provide consumers and businesses with a reliable, community-driven resource for finding and evaluating HVAC service providers.
These Terms of Service (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the Site, including all content, features, and services available through it.

You agree to use the Site only for its intended purposes. You must not:
HVAC businesses may submit their company for inclusion in our directory using the Company Submission form. By submitting your company, you agree to the following:
4.1 Accuracy of Information
You represent and warrant that all information you provide — including company name, address, phone number, email, service areas, services offered, date established, ownership details, annual revenue, and any images — is accurate, current, and not misleading. You agree to promptly notify us of any material changes to your submitted information.
4.2 Editorial Discretion
Submission of your company does not guarantee inclusion in the directory. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to accept, reject, edit, or remove any company listing at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to inaccuracy, incompleteness, or violation of these Terms.
4.3 Financial Information
Annual revenue information collected during submission is used solely to assess the company’s profile for directory purposes. This information is treated as confidential and is not displayed publicly on the Site.
4.4 Images
By uploading images as part of your company submission, you represent that you own or have the necessary rights to those images, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display those images on the Site in connection with your listing.
4.5 Removal of Listings
You may request removal of your company listing at any time by contacting us. We will process removal requests within a reasonable time. We also reserve the right to remove listings at our discretion.
Visitors may submit reviews of listed HVAC companies using the Review Submission form. By submitting a review, you agree to the following:
5.1 Honesty and Accuracy
You represent that your review reflects your genuine first-hand experience with the company being reviewed. You must not submit reviews that are false, fabricated, exaggerated, or based on experiences you did not personally have.
5.2 Conflicts of Interest
You must not submit reviews for a company if you are an owner, employee, contractor, family member, or competitor of that company. Incentivized reviews — where you have received compensation, discounts, or other benefits in exchange for a review — are strictly prohibited.

By submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to publish, display, and use your review content (including your reviewer name, star rating, review title, and review summary) on the Site and in connection with promoting the Site.
5.5 Editorial Discretion
We reserve the right to accept, reject, edit for formatting, or remove any review at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms or our content standards. We are not obligated to publish any review submitted to us.
5.6 Reporting Concerns
If you believe a published review is false, defamatory, or otherwise in violation of these Terms, please contact us so we can investigate.
6.1 Our Content
All content on the Site that we create or own — including the website design, layout, graphics, logos, text, and compilation of directory listings — is the property of Ontario HVAC Reviews and is protected by applicable Canadian copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
6.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (reviews and images). However, by submitting content, you grant us the licences described in Sections 4.4 and 5.4 above. You represent and warrant that your submitted content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
6.3 Feedback
If you provide us with suggestions, feedback, or ideas regarding the Site, you agree that we may use such feedback freely without any obligation to compensate you.
The Site may contain links to the websites of listed companies or other third-party resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume any responsibility for the content, products, or services of any third-party website. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.
8.1 No Endorsement
Inclusion of a company in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty by Ontario HVAC Reviews of that company’s services, quality, or fitness for any particular purpose. We make no representations regarding the accuracy or completeness of any company listing.
8.2 No Verification of Reviews
We do not independently verify the accuracy of user-submitted reviews. Reviews reflect the personal opinions of the individual reviewers and do not represent the views of Ontario HVAC Reviews. We are not responsible for any reliance you place on published reviews.
8.3 Site Availability
We do not warrant that the Site will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Site or any feature at any time without notice.
8.4 “As Is” Basis
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ONTARIO HVAC REVIEWS AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT — INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the greater of (a) CAD $100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ontario HVAC Reviews and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue in Ontario.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ontario HVAC Reviews with respect to your use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, or representations, whether written or oral, relating to the Site.
